48 hours of lessons that twist your thinking

Last weekend, during a step out of my comfort zone, I learned several powerful lessons about life in just 48 hours, never before did I experience true wisdom in such a short amount of time.

We all have got a timeline and we don't know when time is over. Greg Hartle taught me this lesson I often had forgotten in life. He is dying because of a serious sickness and has less than a year to live. "What are you doing to make this world a place you want to live in?" he asked and "Do you life fully to die empty?" Those where quite uneasy questions as I knew, there is so much left to do, so much left to change and I am already on my second chance, a chance we rarely even get.

  • Would you be ready to go?
  • Have you lived up to the fullest?
  • How can you be of service to make this world a better place?

Since last friday those are questions I ask myself every morning and you should to. I talked to Greg the day after his speech and told him how thankful I was that he shared his time and made such a powerful statement. And of course I hope that he has more than the time predicted on earth to inspire and wake up as many human beings as possible.

Ben Austin taught me a lesson about authenticity, about the true power in oneself you can embrace and train. He finally made the puzzle pieces of male vs. female energy and the concept about being what you really are falling into place. How all energy is interleaved and how polarity works.
Self mastery as we create out life is the key, understanding the next step and service the final destination. Because the secret of living is giving.

Chris Guillebeau made me remember how great it is to start new things and to take challenges instead of just settling with what you have. Life is progress and you have to take action and be aware... What vision comes next?

The first conversation I actually had during this time was with Henrika and Ushmi and it was a very powerful one about being one true self, relationships, vulnerability and qualities like kindness, gratefulness and compassion. When you are with such energizing individuals, the world rolls in ecstasy at your feet and through their radiance you are able to see yourself in a different light. That is why I think it is important to share ones life with people who glow and make you shine even more through their light. Do you regularly reach out for such beautiful human beings?

A whole bunch of people from more than 10 different countries have made the discussions and conversations I experienced so deep and full of inspiration, having made a connection to a tribe that shapes the future so real. And I hope I have given and inspired others as well, as it is all about the balance of giving and taking.

And last but not least I have to thank Marthe for getting me into this whole tribe, I am delighted to call someone like her, who has the power of human connection and sensitivity deep inside, a friend. For these are qualities this world is lacking nowadays to be a better place to live in for us all.

I am grateful for every second I have spent throughout those days and every single lesson I have learned. Because 48 hours with the right people in the right place can make all the difference, can shift the perspective about challenge vs. procrastination, the lesser travelled path vs. the mainstream, hiding vs. authenticity and life vs. death.

Then, it just depends on how we master ourselves, how we take action, how we get stronger from our lessons and share our learnings with the world.

So with all clarity I ask you one fundamental question again: "What are you doing to make this world a place you want to live in?"
